2010 Electric Sloop - E/S Hjerter Kung (King of Hearts)
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire one of Europe's most beautiful electric boats: E/S Hjerter Kung of Vaxholm, Sweden.
Have a get-together for your friends, guests, customers or have a quiet cruise - only you can invite to a soiree in this salon.
Hjerter Kung is the only one of its kind in the world, and now she can be yours!
Deck, lounge and all furnishings are hand-made by long time ship builder Björn Westman. The blueprints are from 1892 by engineer Harald Olsson in Vänersborg. Hjerter Kung was launched in May 2010.
The blueprints were found during reconstruction of a house in Karlsborg during the 1980s.
The lounge is built to comfortably fit Captain, crew and 12 passengers and takes its inspiration from turn of the century lounges.
The purpose for Hjerter Kung has been as a boat for traveling canals and to be an archipelago explorer. The boat has trafficked Vaxholms inner archipelago, lake Mälaren and the Strömsholms- and Åkers canals in central Sweden.
The design has never before been realized, Hjerter Kung is the first of its kind.
