Description

Built in 2003, this ABS +1A1 Fire Fighter(1) Towing Vessel with AMS and ACC4 notation is a DPS-2 unit designed for towing, anchor handling, and multi-role offshore operations. The vessel measures 68.95 m LOA, 15.5 m beam, and 6.0 m draft, with a deadweight of 2155 t, GRT 2332, and NRT 2332. Propulsion is provided by 2 x Bergen BRM9 engines generating a total of 10657 bHP driving CPPs in KORT nozzles, supported by 2 x RRM bow thrusters and 1 x stern thruster, producing a bollard pull of 120 t.

Deck facilities include a 300 t tow winch, 2 x 300 t AH winches, multiple rope reels, capstans, an electric-hydraulic knuckle boom provision crane with 5 t SWL capacity, and a free main deck area of 471 m² with general deck strength 5 t/m² and aft AH deck 10 t/m².

Multi-purpose tank capacities include 459 m³ brine, 439 m³ mud, 1060 m³ total liquid storage, with additional dedicated fuel and freshwater tanks. Accommodation supports 10 x 1 man cabins, 4 x 2 man cabins, 3 x 4 man cabins, plus offices and a hospital, with a rescue boat for 10 crew onboard.

Navigation and DP systems include GE C-Series DPS-21 duplex, Veripos DGPS, gyro, wind sensors, and full ARPA radar coverage. Firefighting capabilities comprise monitors with 2 x 1500–3000 m³/hr capacity, foam tanks, and drenching systems. Environmental features include low-residue bulk tanks, cylindrical mud tanks with agitators, and a Butterworth tank cleaning system. Miscellaneous features include Ulstein passive roll damping and comprehensive deck power supplies.
