Description

Passenger vessel for up to 250 passengers in Swedish sea area E, built by Boghammar Marin in 1990.
Previously had Tärnan certificates for Sea aren D / EU-pass.

Tärnan features a main deck fitted with luggage racks, 67 seats arranged face to face with tables, and two toilets. The main deck also includes a bar and cafe area equipped with refrigeration units and dishwashing facilities.

The upper deck is arranged with 24 seats (installed 2022), in addition approximately 50 seats on the sun deck.

The vessel is powered by two Scania DI16 main engines, each rated at 588 kW, installed in 2015, with just over 11,000 hours. Propulsion is provided via Servogear angle gearboxes and four blade controllable pitch propellers. At the same time, a new auxiliary generator set was installed, a Solé unit rated at 50 kVA, with approximately 12,000 running hours.

Navigation equipment includes Furuno radar, as well as navigation systems from Transas and Adveto.

Tärnan is fitted with a hydraulic bow visor. Below the main deck, the hull is subdivided into several watertight compartments, accommodating emergency generator, two large sea water cooled air condition units, tank spaces, and associated technical installations. Tinted insulating glass on main- and upper deck.

The vessel is available for inspection at Söderöra in the northern Stockholm archipelago, subject to prior arrangement with Shipsforsale.
