71 ft Swedish Navy Vessel, de-militarized and now for sale. Will be perfect as Patrol / Armed Escort Vessel. Gunmounts next to wheelhouse and on the aft-deck easily restored. Current classification made 2008 by the Swedish Maritime Organization as merchant dry-cargo / 12 Pass. Only one of its kind in class which makes it easy to convert to other classification organizations around the world. Fitted with two Volvo Penta TAMD122A 400 HP each. Installed new in January of 2000 by the Navy, less than 1100 running hours. 50, 200 and 500 hours service made. Main pumps fitted on each engine for use as bilge pumps or pump for fire-hose on deck. Electronic TFX controls for shift / throttle. One open-array radar 10KW with less than 400 running hours, and one radome radar 2KW with less than 100 running hours. DGPS Plotter screen with radar overlay from the 2KW. Furuno electronic compass. Certified Halotron fire-extinguishing system in the engine room. Fuel capacity 700 US Gallons. Economic cruise speed of 14 knots and a top speed of 20. 13 gal / hour @ 14 knots = 700 nm range. 35 gal / hour @ 20 knots = 400 nm. Whittley Cruiser 2380
The Cruiser 2380 is a trend-setting compact sports cruiser. Smart and sleek, it retains classic Whittley hallmarks such as the latest style timber cabin door and live-aboard comfort.
The variable deadrise hull gives a smooth, dry ride, and there is ample storage including a large compartment down the starboard side of the cockpit, where an L-shaped lounge and table convert into a double bed. The moulded targa bar carries full covers and clears, with navigation lamps and aerials above and downlights and speakers below. Adding sleekness is the wrap-around windscreen with standard windscreen wiper.
The helm has a spacious panel, tilt adjustable steering and adjustable bucket seat, and the galley has hot and cold water, stove and fridge. The roomy cockpit opens into a large V-berth cabin. A moulded transom step-through gives easy access to the boarding platform, which can be optioned with teak inlay and stainless steel rails.
