Greenwood is a 72ft Narrow boat located at Temple Quay, in the heart of Bristol city centre. Situated in a quiet part of town, near the train station and ferry stop. Due to its location in the banking district, friendly private security guards patrol the area 24/7. The area has a great boating community with quiet and secure moorings with electric and water hookup. Greenwood is a traditional solid steel boat with 10mm hull. It has beautiful iroko wood features which was originally decked out by a carpenter and wood designer. Along with this Greenwood has a solid and reliable lister 3 cylinder air cooled engine.
After owning the boat for 20 years these are by far the most important features. This in mind the boat is on the market for someone that can do some summer woodwork renovations.
This boat has been my pride and joy for the past two decades of my life and with its location is equivalent to having a beautiful and fun apartment you can drive around town.
I’m reluctant but willing to sell, as I have a new young family.
Other features of Greenwood;-
An opulent freestanding bath
A fire back boiler plumed into an immersion tank
A washing machine
The front horseshoe can be changed into an additional double bed
Plenty of storage for bikes and tools due to its size.
In March 2024 we took the boat and blacked it with epoxy, we also put 6 new anodes on and got a survey done.
